Golf on the Costa Calida is now a major industry. Although there are some very established courses present, in recent times there has been a sharp increase in the quantity of courses, and therefore choice available. If coupled with the neighboring Costa Blanca the golfing market here is now hot on the heels, if not rivaling, that of the Costa del Sol and the Algarve. There is a 9 hole course planned for the Mazarron Country Club, hopefully in the not to distant future but in the meantime there are great selection of courses available close by ranging from easy to difficult and cheap to expensive.
